321145b37e gpu: nvgpu: Enable raw mode for compression
In raw addressing mode of CBC backing storage, comptaglines are not
required to be allocated or need to programmed in the ptes. Introduce a
flag to detect if the hardware supports raw mode and use that to skip
all the comptagline allocations and respective page table programming.

dmabuf internals that nvgpu relies upon for storing meta-data for
compressible buffers changed in k6.1. For now, disable compression

Additionally, fix numerous compilation issues due to the bit rotted

compression dependent code crept in that wasn't protected under the

693305c0fd gpu: nvgpu: subcontext add/remove support
Subcontext PDBs and valid mask in the instance blocks of the channels
in various subcontexts has to be updated when new subcontext is
created or a subcontext is removed.

Replayable fault state is cached in the channel structure. Replayable
fault state for subcontext is set based on first channel's bind
parameter. It was earlier programmed in function channel_setup_ramfc.

init_inst_block_core is updated to setup TSG level pdb map and mask.

Added new hal gv11b_channel_bind to enable the subcontext on channel
bind.

5b55088970 gpu: nvgpu: skip subctx pdb init during as-channel bind
While creating a new channel, ioctls are called in the below sequence:

  2. AS_IOCTL_BIND_CHANNEL
  3. TSG_IOCTL_BIND_CHANNEL_EX
  4. CHANNEL_ALLOC_GPFIFO_EX
  5. CHANNEL_ALLOC_OBJ_CTX.

subctx pdbs and valid mask are programmed in the channel instance block
in the channel ioctls AS_IOCTL_BIND_CHANNEL & CHANNEL_ALLOC_GPFIFO_EX.

Programming them in the ioctl AS_IOCTL_BIND_CHANNEL is redundant.
Remove related hal g->ops.mm.init_inst_block_for_subctxs.

The hal init_inst_block will program context pdb and big page size.
The hal init_inst_block_core will program context pdb, big page size
and subctx 0 pdb. This is used by h/w units (fecs, pmu, hwpm, bar1,
bar2, sec2, gsp, perfbuf etc.).

For user channels, subctx pdbs are programmed as part of ramfc setup.

Initially, REMAP only worked with big pages but in some cases
only small pages are supported where REMAP functionality is
also needed.

This cleans up some page size assumptions. In particular, on a
remap request, the nvgpu_vm_area is found from the passed in VA,
but can only be done from virt_offset_in_pages if we're also
told the page size.

This now occurs from _PAGESIZE_ flags which are required by

535a27411a gpu: nvgpu: fix allocator debugfs deinit
Allocator (bitmap, buddy, page) debugfs files are not cleaned up when
the allocators are destroyed. This leads to warning logs from nvgpu
like below:

[21073.493000] debugfs: File 'gk20a_as_17' in directory 'allocators' already present!
[21073.493026] debugfs: File 'gk20a_as_17-sys' in directory 'allocators' already present!

Remove the per-allocator debugfs node when destroying an allocator in
runtime.

While at this, add missing nvgpu_allocator locking to the function
nvgpu_bitmap_alloc_destroy. And create nop functions for the
functions nvgpu_init_alloc_debug and nvgpu_fini_alloc_debug
when CONFIG_DEBUG_FS is not defined to avoid adding the
CONFIG checks at multiple places.

Move gk20a_debug_deinit to the end of gk20a_free_cb called in nvgpu_put
as that tears down all debugfs entries. Allocator destroy happens as
part of nvgpu_put call and it can lead to invalid debugfs dentry
access if gk20a_debug_deinit is called before it.

The gmmu mapping code forgot to clear the already written gmmu entries
if a PD allocation failed in the middle. If nvgpu_set_pd_level() fails
when attempting to map, call it again with the same virt addr but unmap.
This may fail again if we're low on memory, but the already updated
entries are guaranteed to exist and get cleared again.

Ensure that TLB is invalidated even in error conditions since the GPU
may have already accessed the partially written data that is now
unmapped again. Likewise, flush L2 too because unmap happened.

Unify the unmap call a bit so that the gmmu attrs for an unmap are now
in only one place, including the unnecessary cbc_comptagline_mode
assignment as it's not used for unmap.

Introduce nvgpu_gmmu_map_partial() to map a specific size of a buffer
represented by nvgpu_mem, or what nvgpu_gmmu_map() used to do. Delete
the size parameter from nvgpu_gmmu_map() such that it now maps the
entire buffer. The separate size parameter is a historical artifact from
when nvgpu_mem did not exist yet; the typical use is to map the entire
buffer.

Mapping at a certain address with nvgpu_gmmu_map_fixed() still takes the
size parameter.

The returned address still has to be stored somewhere, typically to
mem.gpu_va by the caller so that the matching unmap variant finds the
right address.

ed16377983 gpu: nvgpu: allocate comptags and store metadata in REGISTER_BUFFER ioctl
To enable userspace query about comptags allocation status of a buffer,
comptags are to be allocated only during buffer registration done by
nvrm_gpu. Earlier, they were allocated during map.

nvrm_gpu will be sending metadata blob to be associated with the buffer.
This will have to be stored in the dmabuf privdata for all the buffers
registered by nvrm_gpu.

This patch moves the privdata allocation to buffer registration ioctl.

Remove g->mm.priv_lock as it is not needed now. This lock was added
to protect dmabuf private data setup. That private data is now
handled through dmabuf->ops and setup of dmabuf->ops is done
under dmabuf->lock.

To support legacy userspace, this patch still allocates comptags on
demand on map calls for unregistered buffers.

cd3ad1ccc7 gpu: nvgpu: fix REMAP android build failure
Rework nvgpu_vm_remap_os_buf structure initialization to
avoid android/clang build issues with the use of a single pair
of {} to initialize certain structures.

The os-dependent nvgpu_vm_remap_os_buf_get() routine now does
a memset of the structure prior to initializing its contents.

3cd256b344 gpu: nvgpu: add linux REMAP support
Add REMAP ioctl and accompanying support to the linux nvgpu driver.

REMAP support provides per-page control over sparse VM areas using the
concept of a virtual memory pool.

The REMAP ioctl accepts a list of operations (each a map or unmap) that
modify the VM area pages tracked by the virtual mmemory pool.

Inclusion of REMAP support in the nvgpu build is controlled by the new
CONFIG_NVGPU_REMAP flag. This flag is enabled by default for linux builds.
A new NVGPU_GPU_FLAGS_SUPPORT_REMAP characteristics flag is added for use
in detecting when REMAP support is available.

When a VM allocation tagged with NVGPU_VM_AREA_ALLOC_SPARSE is made the
base virtual memory pool resources are allocated. Per-page resources are
later allocated when the NVGPU_AS_IOCTL_REMAP ioctl is issued. All REMAP
resources are released when the corresponding VM area is freed.

After a partial cache is freed, it is possible to be re-used next time.
So always zero the partial on free.

c7d43f5292 gpu: nvgpu: remove usage of CONFIG_NVGPU_NEXT
The CONFIG_NVGPU_NEXT config is no longer required now that ga10b and
ga100 sources have been collapsed. However, the ga100, ga10b sources
are not safety certified, so mark them as NON_FUSA by replacing
CONFIG_NVGPU_NEXT with CONFIG_NVGPU_NON_FUSA.

Move CONFIG_NVGPU_MIG to Makefile.linux.config and enable MIG support
by default on standard build.
