4f96f59c15 gpu: nvgpu: perform support_ls_pmu check
Perform support_ls_pmu check before dereferencing pmu from gpu struct g
to avoid the possibility of kernel panic when LS PMU support is not
enabled.

e1cdfaa208 gpu: nvgpu: fix CERT EXP34-C issue
Fix CERT issue in nvgpu_gr_falcon_bind_fecs_elpg where nvgpu_pmu_pg_buf
could return NULL. nvgpu_pmu_pg_buf is called from context where PG
will be enabled hence remove the NULL return logic as it is dead
code.

Replace nvgpu_pmu_pg_buf and nvgpu_pmu_pg_buf_get_cpu_va functions by
new function nvgpu_pmu_pg_buf_alloc.

fb019bf43a gpu: nvgpu: async cmd resp for gv11b
- When DISALLOW cmd is sent from driver to PMU the actual
  completion of the disallow will be acknowledged by PMU
  via a PG EVENT: ASYNC_CMD_RESP.
- Disallow needs a delayed ACK from PMU in order to disable
  the ELPG.
- If ELPG is already engaged, the DISALLOW cmd will trigger
  ELPG exit and then transition to PMU_PG_STATE_DISALLOW.
- After this whole process is completed, PMU will send
  DISALLOW_ACK through ASYNC_CMD_RESP msg.
- After disallow command is sent from the driver, NvGPU driver
  waits/polls for disallow command ack. This is sent immediately
  by msg framework of PMU.
- Then, the driver will poll/wait for ASYNC_CMD_RESP event which
  is the delayed DISALLOW ACK.
- The driver captures the ASYNC_CMD_RESP sent from PMU.
- set disallow_state to ELPG_OFF.
- If the driver does not wait/poll for this delayed disallow
  ack from PMU, it can result in erros  as PMU is still
  processing DISALLOW cmd but the driver progressed further.

9446cfa320 gpu: nvgpu: update golden image flag for RG seq
The flag pmu->pg->golden_image_initialized is set to
true during initial GPU context creation and is not
cleared while the GPU goes into pm_suspend (during railgate).
Hence, when the GPU resumes after un-railgate it retains
the previous value which can cause ELPG to kick in immediately.
Due to this, when ELPG and Railgating are enabled, IDLE_SNAP
is seen for read access of gr_gpc0_tpc0_sm_arch_r reg.

To resolve this, if golden image is ready set the
pmu->pg->golden_image_initialized to suspend state during railgate,
to delay the early enable of ELPG. Add a new
pmu_init_golden_img_state hal in the NVGPU_INIT_TABLE_ENTRY.
This will be called after all the GR access is done and GPU resumes
completely after un-railgate. This hal will then check if
golden_image_initialized flag is in suspend state, it will set it
to ready state and then re-enable ELPG.

- If the driver does not wait/poll for this delayed disallow
  ack from PMU, it can result in pmu halt issues as PMU is still
  processing DISALLOW cmd but the driver progressed further which
  can result in errors.

3d9c67a0e7 gpu: nvgpu: enable Orin support in safety build
Most of the Orin chip specific code is compiled out of safety build
with CONFIG_NVGPU_NON_FUSA and CONFIG_NVGPU_HAL_NON_FUSA. Remove the
config protection from Orin/GA10B specific code. Currently all code
is enabled. Code not required in safety will be compiled out later
in separate activity.

Other noteworthy changes in this patch related to safety build:

- In ga10b_ce_request_idle(), add a log print to dump num_pce so that
  compiler does not complain about unused variable num_pce.
- In ga10b_fifo_ctxsw_timeout_isr(), protect variables active_eng_id and
  recover under CONFIG_NVGPU_KERNEL_MODE_SUBMIT to fix compilation
  errors of unused variables.
- Compile out HAL gops.pbdma.force_ce_split() from safety since this HAL
  is GA100 specific and not required for GA10B.
- Compile out gr_ga100_process_context_buffer_priv_segment() with
  CONFIG_NVGPU_DEBUGGER.
- Compile out VAB support with CONFIG_NVGPU_HAL_NON_FUSA.
- In ga10b_gr_intr_handle_sw_method(), protect left_shift_by_2 variable
  with appropriate configs to fix unused variable compilation error.
- In ga10b_intr_isr_stall_host2soc_3(), compile ELPG function calls
  with CONFIG_NVGPU_POWER_PG.
- In ga10b_pmu_handle_swgen1_irq(), move whole function body under
  CONFIG_NVGPU_FALCON_DEBUG to fix unused variable compilation errors.
- Add below TU104 specific files in safety build since some of the code
  in those files is required for GA10B. Unnecessary code will be
  compiled out later on.

- Compile out GA10B specific debugger/profiler related files from

- Disable CONFIG_NVGPU_FALCON_DEBUG from safety debug build temporarily
  to work around compilation errors seen with keeping this config
  enabled. Config will be re-enabled in safety debug build later.

f4ec400d5f gpu: nvgpu: simplify nvgpu_timeout_init
nvgpu_timeout_init() returns an error code only when the flags parameter
is invalid. There are very few possible values for flags, so extract the
two most common cases - cpu clock based and a retry based timeout - to
functions that cannot fail and thus return nothing. Adjust all callers
to use those, simplfying error handling quite a bit.

dd9b4364aa gpu: nvgpu: add nvgpu-next infrastructure
* As of now, working on multiple chip bringup in nvgpu-next repo has
   an issue because we end with losing control on source code (hard to
   find which part of the code belongs to which chip) and it's valuable
   history this affects chip migration on release.

 * To support multiple chip bringup simultaneously, we need new
   guidelines to avoid losing control on source code and make migration
   easier. This change adds links to nvgpu-next repo.

 * Updated return code to ENODEV for consistency
 * Updated ACR unittest to work with ENODEV return code

NOTE:
     These are the initial set of infrastructure changes, guidelines
     will evolve, and source code will get updated accordingly.

     Based on future chip features, Which part of the source code falls
     under nvgpu-next repo is decided.

f4571194b0 gpu: nvgpu: stop ELPG init thread during unload
ELPG initialization thread creation can fail when the process is killed.
That leads to driver resume failure.

That thread was stopped on suspend and re-created on resume. To avoid
the issue above, don't stop the ELPG thread in suspend and let the
first created thread handle the ELPG state transitions always.
And stop the ELPG thread during unload.

Also fix couple of instances of config flag as:

s/CONFIG_PMU_POWER_PG/CONFIG_NVGPU_POWER_PG

Replace all nvgpu_next functions/structs either by 1) collapsing them
into nvgpu legacy functions/structs 2) renaming them as follows:
- nvgpu_next_*() => nvgpu_(ga10b/ga100)_*()
- nvgpu_next_*() => (ga10b/ga100)_*()
- nvgpu_next_*() => nvgpu_*() [only if this doesn't cause collision]
- nvgpu_next_*() = > nvgpu_*_extra()

Create hal.sim unit and move Ampere+ SIM code into it.

c7d43f5292 gpu: nvgpu: remove usage of CONFIG_NVGPU_NEXT
The CONFIG_NVGPU_NEXT config is no longer required now that ga10b and
ga100 sources have been collapsed. However, the ga100, ga10b sources
are not safety certified, so mark them as NON_FUSA by replacing
CONFIG_NVGPU_NEXT with CONFIG_NVGPU_NON_FUSA.

Move CONFIG_NVGPU_MIG to Makefile.linux.config and enable MIG support
by default on standard build.

4787220ffe gpu: nvgpu: Create ELPG cmd functions
In nvgpu-next ELPG unit support RPC calls and no
longer support command calls to communicate to PMU.
This change will create separate ELPG command
functions which can be called for legacy chips and
can be replaced by RPC functions for nvgpu-next chip.

d0d8ef79d1 gpu: nvgpu: use READ_ONCE/WRITE_ONCE
In the upstream kernel ACCESS_ONCE is now deprecated with reason as
given in the following related commit:

    commit 381f20fceba8e ("security: use READ_ONCE instead of deprecated
    ACCESS_ONCE")

    ACCESS_ONCE() does not work reliably on non-scalar types. For
    example gcc 4.6 and 4.7 might remove the volatile tag for such
    accesses during the SRA (scalar replacement of aggregates) step.

Replace usages of ACCESS_ONCE with READ_ONCE and WRITE_ONCE in nvgpu.

fa8ca3fb19 gpu: nvgpu: re-enable elpg after golden img init
Typically, the PMU init thread will finish up long
before the golden context image has been initialized,
which means that ELPG hasn't truly been enabled at that
point.

Create a new function, nvgpu_pmu_reenable_pg(), which
checks if elpg had been enabled (non-zero refcnt), and
if so, disables then re-enables it.

Call this function from nvgpu_gr_obj_ctx_alloc() after
the golden context image has been initialized to ensure
that elpg is truly enabled.

dc366ea4b4 gpu: nvgpu: Fix PMU destroy sequence
A call to exit the PMU state machine/kthread must
be prioritized over any other state change.
It was possible to set the state as PMU_STATE_EXIT,
signal the kthread and overwrite the state before
the kthread has had the chance to exit its loop.
This may lead to a "lost" signal, resulting in
indefinite wait during the destroy sequence.

Faulting sequence:
1. pmu_state = PMU_STATE_EXIT in nvgpu_pmu_destroy()
2. cond_signal()
3. pmu_state = PMU_STATE_LOADING_PG_BUF
4. PMU kthread wakes up
5. PMU kthread processes PMU_STATE_LOADING_PG_BUF
6. PMU kthread sleeps
7. nvgpu_pmu_destroy() waits indefinitely

This patch adds a sticky flag to indicate PMU_STATE_EXIT,
irrespective of any subsequent changes to pmu_state.

The PMU PG init kthread may wait on a call to
NVGPU_COND_WAIT_INTERRUPTIBLE, which requires a
corresponding call to nvgpu_cond_signal_interruptible()
as the core kernel code requires this task mask to
wake-up an interruptible task.

97762279b7 gpu: nvgpu: make nvgpu_init_mutex return void
Make the nvgpu_init_mutex function return void.
In linux case, this doesn't affect anything since mutex_init
returns void.
For posix, we assert() and die if pthread_mutex_init fails.

This alleviates the need to error inject for _every_
nvgpu_mutex_init function in the driver.

initialize stage, function nvgpu_pmu_early_init() allocates space for
all its subunit & its default values for further usage during runtime,
and function nvgpu_pmu_init() performs setup for sub units & starts
PMU-RTOS boot.

Deinit of all sub units allocated space will handled as part of
remove_support stage & also, during init stage upon failure of
init/setup sequence.

-Currently PG task is created for both iGPU & dGPU as part PMU init
sequence path, but task is not required for dGPU or can be skipped
if ELPG is not supported on iGPU, made changes to create PG task only
if supported else skip it, and made some functions to private as these
are required by PG UNIT only.
-PG instance is allocated & set to default properties as needed if
support is enabled else skip it.
-Made changes in dependent files as required to reflect above changes

Also remove ctx_mutex from struct gr_gk20a

Add new flag golden_image_initialized to struct nvgpu_pmu_pg and set it
when golden image is initialized. This is needed to avoid circular
dependency between GR and PMU

556e139077 gpu: nvgpu: Cleanup for gr_gk20a header
Removed unused struct from gr_gk20a.h
Change static allocation for struct gr_gk20a to dynamic type.
Change all the files that being affected by that change.

Call gr allocation from corresponding init_support functions, which
are part of the probe functions.
nvgpu_pci_init_support in pci.c
vgpu_init_support in vgpu_linux.c
gk20a_init_support in module.c

Call gr free before the gk20a free call in nvgpu_free_gk20a.

Rename struct gr_gk20a to struct nvgpu_gr

bcbc87dc2e gpu: nvgpu: move pmu interface headers to include/nvgpu/pmu
Interface header files for PMU features are now moved under PMU header
files directory include/nvgpu/pmu. And fix bulk of coding style issues.
Update header file names and guards.

7a753e5c39 gpu: nvgpu: fix MISRA 17.7 violations in pmu_pg
MISRA Rule-17.7 requires the return value of all functions to be
used. Fix is either to use the return value or change the function
to return void. This patch contains fixes for all 17.7 violations
in common/pmu/pg/pmu_pg.c.

16953b9622 gpu: nvgpu: prepare pmu command unit
pmu_ipc.c had functionality for rpc response handling and message cond
checks. This patch moves them to msg unit. And prepare cmd.h to group
together structs and functions related PMU commands.
